someday I'll process about it all, but right now, I'm engulfed with such homesickness.
I'm reminded how fortunate I am to have such parents, who did so well in raising me in such a gorgeous place in the middle of nowhere. The forest is so green, and it smells so clear. Fireflys blinking at night, turkeys and deer walking through the backyard during the day.
But these days, I'm a city girl, and I'm looking forward to heading back to my city. :)
(My father is doing _great_, recovering well, and moving towards being able to fly, and travel, and do the things he hasnt been able to for a couple of years. I'm glad, maybe they'll visit me!)
As of 4:30PM they are done!*
* well mostly done! there was some minor pieces that are missing and will have to be ordered but when they get them it should only take them 10 minutes to install them
At 8:30AM day 5 of heating system install in my building started.
Today should be the last.
Come hang outside with me :)

All Furniture that needs to be moved has been moved. I'm still in need of a minion or three to help hang the tarps up. If you have a minion or two to spare please send them asap ;-) Afterwards I can pass out

Wouldn't this be great to see in every city?
Finally was able to post my pictures of the 17th Annual NYC Dyke March which was held on Saturday June 27, 2009. It started at Bryant Park, located at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. The march went down 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park.

current mood: cheerful
Drive to airport with my mother was great - we end up talking a lot in the car, and its good for us both.
whipartist - huzzah! it was awesome to have a friendly face at the airport. (thanks again!!!)
byronium arrived, run out of steam from the death cab for cutie concert I had missed arriving at such an annoying time on Saturday. (you have no idea how glad I was to see his sweet face.)
Flight was not bad, tho there were small children pushing my seat the whole time - one drawback of the Virgin flights is that many of the onboard Red items can be accessed by the handset or by the touch screen, and if you arent careful, touching the touchscreen will move the seat in front of you. Kids arent always careful, but its hard to be upset at them.
Arrived and picked up by
We dropped off my stuff and headed over to Chez Maman. I was desperate for French Onion Soup and a glass of red wine. We had drinks at Lingba, and got into Chez Maman just as
I got to see a tiny corner of the awesome rainbow everyone else had seen on Saturday night, while landing, I was looking out the window... Thanks, SF for welcoming me home!!!
